Social media presence is standard currency for disseminating research and measuring the impact of published works. But it is also a source of disinformation, which escalated during the COVID-19 pandemic. Professional use of social media can be learned and is important for medical education, research dissemination, and public health advocacy. This session will provide an update and guidance on strategies for the use of social media in critical care.
