Aleksandra (Sasha) Yakhkind MD MS is a neurointensivist and assistant professor of neurology and neurosurgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. In addition to patient care, her interests are burnout prevention, narrative medicine and global health. Formerly a yoga teacher, her goal is to make critical care a sustainable profession through advocacy and self care. Her current projects include a book on the diversity of perfection in medicine, resident and medical student mentorship, and the standardization of intracerebral hemorrhage management and response times.
