HDr. Hina Faisal is a board-certified Anesthesiologist and Critical Care Physician. She is a graduate of the Dow University of Health Science, Karachi, Pakistan. She did basic surgical training at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and a few years of surgery residency at the Department of Surgery, University of Tennessee College of Medicine, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Due to her interest in critical care, she specialized in Anesthesia, and then she completed her residency in Anesthesiology at Case Western Reserve University (MetroHealth) Program, Cleveland, Ohio. After residency, she completed a fellowship in Anesthesia Critical Care Medicine at the University of Texas Houston- McGovern Medical School.
Dr. Faisal started with Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group, Department of Surgery in March 2019 as a faculty member. As faculty, Dr. Faisal has assisted the Department of Surgery Residency program with lectures and training. Her clinical expertise is surgical critical care and anesthesiology. She is also a member of the American Board of Anesthesiologists and the American Medical Association. Her other interests are reading, writing, cooking, singing, and gardening. She speaks English, Urdu, and Tourist Arabic. Her clinical and teaching interests include regional anesthesia and global health.
