My name is Kwame Asante Akuamoah-Boateng, DNP, ACNP-BC, FCCM, I serve as the lead Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in the Division of Acute Care Surgical Service Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Virginia.
I am privilege to serve on various roles in the society, as past president of the Carolinas/Virginias Society of Critical Care Medicine, led in the formation of the Global Outreach Keg in SCCM, and currently SCCM APN chair-elect. My drive to impact system changes and leadership to improve patient and clinician outcomes continues.
