The healthcare industry has been pushed to its limits by the global pandemic, and providers are now experiencing what is being recognized as Burnout Syndrome. This can lead to medical errors, decreased effectiveness at work, and poor morale, leading to attrition. The presentation will discuss the physiology of Burnout Syndrome and how it affects teams, with a focus on ways to promote emotional resilience and maintain positive, supportive relationships with our colleagues to help fortify sound judgment and compassionate care for patients.
