Kristina Betters, MD, FAAP is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University. She leads the multi-disciplinary Early Mobility Committee at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, is a member of the MiniMINDS delirium team and the Critical Illness, Brain Dysfunction, and Survivorship (CIBS) Center. She is co-Vice Chair of the SCCM ICU Liberation Committee and is interested in ways to mitigate the negative consequences of an PICU stay, as well as defining the true burden of PICS in pediatric patients and their families so we can start working towards healing.
