Kaysie L. Banton, MD MHA is the Trauma Medical Director of the Level 1 Trauma Center, Swedish Medical Center, an Urban hospital located in the Denver, Colorado metro area. She spent 18 years in Minneapolis training and practicing at the University of Minnesota as an Acute Care Surgeon, Trauma surgeon and Critical Care Surgeon. She currently leads a team of like-minded Trauma/Acute Care Intensivists at Swedish Medical Center where she has made multiple contributions over the last 5 years. Her interests lie in the care and research of the acute needs of critically ill and injured patients in all aspects of care.
