Dr. Sridharan is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiology at Emory University, specializing in advanced heart failure and transplantation, and the medical director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Emory University Hospital. She received her medical degree from Northwestern University after completing her undergraduate education at Harvard University. Subsequently, she completed her post-graduate residency training at the University of California, San Francisco as well as fellowships in both cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure/transplant cardiology at Columbia University. Dr. Sridharan’s interests are in cardiac critical care, the hemodynamics of mechanical support, complex cardiovascular care delivery and process improvement in transplantation, clinical ethics and wellness initiatives in chronic illness. Dr. Sridharan is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography and advanced heart failure/transplant cardiology.
