Michelle Rausen, MS, RRT, RRT-NPS is the Technical Director of the Respiratory Therapy Department at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She received her BS in Health Science from the University of Connecticut and has a Master of Science in Respiratory Care Leadership from Northeastern University. She spent the majority of her clinical career at Massachusetts General Hospital a a staff respiratory therapist and ECMO specialist caring for all patient populations. In her current role she oversees approximately 70 Registered Respiratory Therapists at 3 locations and serves on many hospital-wide committees. She is a member of the advisory board for the Respiratory Care Program at Long Island University, is an active member of the American Association of Respiratory Care and has been appointed to several committees within the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
