Sarah Bain, MD is a cardiac anesthesiologist and intensivist at Virginia Mason Franciscan Hospital in Seattle, WA. She is the Division head for Cardiac, Structural Heart, and Thoracic Anesthesia and the Associate Program Director for the Anesthesia Residency Program. After graduating from the George Washington School Medicine in Washington DC, she ventured out to the west coast to Stanford University for Anesthesia residency, Critical Care Medicine, and Cardiac Anesthesia fellowships. She was a staff physician at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View CA before heading north to Seattle to join the team at VMFH. Hobbies these days mostly include chasing after two active little boys, the youngest just having arrived in 2021.
