There are many causes of POCUS diagnostic difficulty that may be evade easy identification. We term them as "hidden diagnostic difficulties". This diagnostic error occurs from correct diagnosis but inability of POCUS provider in determining the relevance of the findings in clinical management of patients. These diagnostic errors may lead to delay in diagnosis and management.
In this session we review these potential difficulties, and how to best uncover and address them.
