With advancing critical care, survival with medical treatment only has increased dramatically obviating the need for liver transplant. In this talk, we will discuss various medical interventions in critical care - specific treatment, extracorporeal liver support , neuromonitoring and neuro-critical care, advances - hepatocyte transplant, use of mesenchymal stem cell transplant. This talk will be valuable to the global society as not all parts of the world have access to liver transplantation.
