Following the publication of the PROSEVA study in 2013 the widespread adoption of prone ventilation was slow. Adoption of prone ventilation was accelerated during the global COVID-19 pandemic. This session will examine the use of prone ventilation in COVID-19 patients and explore more broadly the issue of de-adoption and whether this will occur following the conclusion of the global pandemic.
