This session will explore the treatment of hypoxemic respiratory failure with non-invasive ventilation, CPAP and heated high flow oxygen and contrast the findings between COVID-19 and Non COVID-19 patients. Additionally, consideration will be given to expanding the Berlin definition of ARDS to include patients who are being treated with heated high flow oxygen.
