Sentinel introduces TraumaGuard, the first hands-free monitoring device designed to continuously measure real-time Intra-Abdominal Pressure (IAP) and Core Body Temperature (CBT) in your critical care patients.
Comprised of an IAP-sensing catheter and smart cable, TraumaGuard captures continuous measurements in a voided bladder, regardless of your patient’s position. The system connects to your existing bedside monitors and omits immediate alerts to the patient’s bedside and nurses’ station when a patient’s IAP meets or exceeds pre-determined levels. This is crucial to early detection, treatment and prevention of Intra-Abdominal Hypertension (IAH) and deadly Abdominal Compartment Syndrome (ACS).
